Our luxury 4 star cottages have been lovingly
converted from original stone barns which once formed part of Lower
Clicker Farm. Each cottage retains many original features including
exposed beams & stonework and all have been equipped to a high
standard with many “home from home” comforts.
The 4 star English Tourist Board rating, of which we are very proud,
applies to all six cottages. It follows a very thorough inspection
of all aspects of the accommodation and facilities provided.
Enclosed in a private courtyard with ample parking - Rowan, Maple &
Chesnut overlook the courtyard whilst Pine, Elm & Walnut have views
across the rolling Cornish countryside. Each has its own patio,
garden furniture and barbeque with attractive hanging baskets and
tubs of flowers.
New for 2008
We have been very busy during the winter making further improvements
to the cottages and facilities.
After a long battle to obtain planning permission, we finally got
the go-ahead at the end of last year to create a swimming pool, hot
tub and games room. The new facilities will be complete by late
summer with the heated swimming pool due for completion by mid to
late June.
In addition to the new facilities we now have a 7-acre field to
exercise your dog and have also made further improvements to the
children’s play area.
All properties
All cottages are double glazed and have LPG central heating (inc)
making them cosy and warm in the cooler months of the year.
In the lounge there is a flat screen TV with digital freeview, DVD
player ( video recorder also available on request ) and stereo
CD/radio with comfortable seating and co-ordinated furnishings.
Fitted carpets throughout with vinyl, laminate or tiled flooring in
the bathrooms & kitchens.
Kitchens-Well equipped fitted kitchens with oven/grill
and a full size hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, food
processor/blender, kettle, toaster, coffee maker/cafetiere, steam
iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner and plenty of crockery,
cutlery, saucepans and cooking utensils. Tea towel, hand towel, oven
gloves and dishcloth/brush are also provided.
Bedrooms-Comfortable beds dressed with quality
bedlinen and co-ordinating lined curtains. Chests of drawers and
plenty of hanging space provided in free-standing or built in
wardrobes, bedside cabinet & lamp for each person and alarm
clock/radio. One hairdryer provided per cottage.
All linen & towels are provided (except beach towels)
Cots (1 per cottage - we do not supply cot linen),
highchairs and stairgates available.
Adjacent to the courtyard is a laundry room with washing machines &
tumble driers and rotary washing lines are provided in the garden.
We welcome well-behaved dogs at a nominal charge (2 max. per
cottage) but no cats. “Poop bags” are provided and there is plenty
of space within the grounds for exercising.
Wireless broadband internet access available in all cottages.
Guest information folders with lots of useful local information &
advice. There is also a separate tourist information booth
containing many “what’s on” guides and attraction details.

Restaurant - adjacent to the courtyard is the renowned Hayloft
Ristorante. Enjoy a candlelit meal or, if you would rather, have
your meal delivered to your cottage-remember the chef in the family
is on holiday too!!
Special Occasions-we are happy to arrange flowers, chocolates,
champagne or wine in your cottage on arrival. |
