The quickest way down to Cornwall is to take the M5 motorway to Exeter. Here it merges with the A38 Devon Expressway to Plymouth. Bypass Plymouth and continue on the A38 towards Liskeard. Across the Tamar Bridge (no toll needed travelling into Cornwall - £1 to leave!) and you’re in Cornwall. Drive through the Saltash Tunnel, up a long hill to the Carkeel Roundabout and take the second exit (straight across) Continue to follow signs for Liskeard – driving through the villages of Landrake & Tideford. Up a hill and under a railway bridge to the Trerulefoot Roundabout - take the third exit to Liskeard. Continue for approximately 3 miles passing Castle Motors on your left. As you start climbing a hill move to right-hand lane and take right turning for Menheniot. You will see the Hayloft Restaurant in front of you as you turn off the dual carriageway. Drive past the restaurant entrance and take next right turn into the Hayloft Courtyard Cottages.
